Fast accurate computation of nonlinear solitary gravity waves

conf-mapping New methods, based on conformal mapping and the Bobenko equation, have been proposed for the numerical solution of large amplitude solitary gravity waves.  The results are reported in the papers “Efficient computation of steady solitary gravity waves“, which appeared in Wave Motion, and “Fast accurate computation of the fully nonlinear solitary surface gravity waves“, which appeared in Computers & Fluids, both papers co-authored by Didier Clamond and Denys Dutykh.
